This uncirculated 500 Portuguese escudo banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Portugal in 1997. It is a red and brown banknote that measures 122 mm x 68 mm, bears the signatures of Antonio Jose Fernandes de Sousa and Abel Moreira Mateus, and is dated 11 September 1997.
