This uncirculated 50 Portuguese Guinean escudo note is a standard circulation note that is dated 17 December 1971 and signed by Governor Francisco Jose Vieira Machado and Administrator Pedro de Mascarenhas Gaivao. It is a green and purple note that measures 161 mm x 80 mm. Its obverse side shows the coat of arms and a portrait of Nuno Tristao. Its reverse side features different ships throughout the ages and women. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of Nuno Tristao.
