This uncirculated 1 Qatari riyal note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Qatar Monetary Agency in 1985. It is a brown note that bears the signature of Abdulaziz al-Thani and measures 134 mm x 66 mm. Its obverse side features the national coat of arms. Its reverse side shows a dhow, the Mosque of the Sheikhs, the Foreign Ministry building, and the Emiri Palace. Security features include a solid security thread with printed QATAR MONETARY AGENCY and a Type A watermark of a falcon head. The note was demonetized in 2006.
