Qatar 1 Riyal Banknote, 2008 ND, P-28a.2, UNC, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Qatar 1 Riyal Banknote was issued by the Qatar Central Bank in 2008. It has a combination of blue, brown, and purple. The obverse of the note features the coat of arms of Qatar depicting a dhow, palm trees, and two crossed swords. The back of the paper bill displays a crested lark, a Eurasian bee-eater, and a lesser sand plover which are native to Qatar. The banknote contains a solid security thread and a windowed security thread with a demetallized QCB 1. It also carries a watermark that shows a falcon’s head with an electrotype Arabic text over 1. The note measures 134 x 66 mm and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
