The Qatar 5 Riyals Banknote was issued by the Qatar Central Bank in 1996. The obverse of this purple banknote features the Qatari coat of arms with a dhow, palm trees, and crossed swords. The reverse depicts greenhouses, sheep, and fields of plants. The note contains a watermark that reveals a falcon’s head and a solid security thread with printed QATAR CENTRAL BANK. The note measures 140 x 67.5 mm and is signed by Abdullah Ben Khaled Al-Attiya and Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
