The Qatar 500 Riyals issued in 2007 is graded PMG 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty. Its obverse shows a holographic patch. It also features the Coat of Arms which consists of a dhow, palm trees, and two swords crossing each other. The Royal Palace, the Al-Wajbah Fort, and a falcon head can be found on the reverse of the banknote. The 164 x 73.55 mm banknote comes with solid and optiks security threads and a falcon head with electrotype 500 as its watermark.
