Qatar 500 Riyals Banknote, 2007 ND, P-27a.1, PMG 66

The Qatar 500 Riyals Banknote was issued by the Qatar Central Bank in 2007. The banknote is predominantly blue and violet. The obverse features a holographic patch and the coat of arms of Qatar depicting a dhow, a palm tree, and crossed swords. The reverse displays the Royal Palace, the Al-Wajbah Fort, and a falcon’s head. The banknote carries solid and Optiks security threads and a watermark that reveals a falcon’s head with an electrotype Arabic text over 500. The banknote is 164 x 63.5mm in size and is signed by Abdullah Saud Al-Thani and Youssef Hussein Kamal. This particular paper bill has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
