This uncirculated 500 Qatari riyal note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Qatar Central Bank. It is a purple note that is dated 2020, bear the signatures of Abdullah Saud al-Thani and Ali Shareef Al Emadi, and measures 164 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side features traditional geometric patterns, the State of Qatar flag, Qatari flora, and a gate representing historical Qatari architecture. Its reverse side shows the Ras Laffan LNG refinery and the LNG canter ship. Security features include a denomination registration device, a holographic patch with the Dreama flower and denomination, a holographic security thread with demetallized 500, and a watermark of the State of Qatar crest with electrotype denomination numerals. The note is made of a hybrid substrate of paper and polymer.
