Romania 1,000 Lei Banknote, 1993, P-102, UNC

The Romania 1,000 Lei banknote was issued by the National Bank of Romania in 1993. It comes in reddish-brown, green, orange, and pink combinations. Its obverse design displays the coat of arms of Romania, the bank monogram, sails of ships, and a portrait of Romanian poet, Mihai Eminescu. The reverse of the note depicts the Manastirea Putna or the monastery in Putna, a rosette, and the bank monogram logo. The 167 x 77 mm paper bill carries a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals Mihai Eminescu. This particular Romania 1,000 Lei banknote is in uncirculated condition.
