Romania 1,000 Lei Banknote, 1998, P-106a.4, UNC, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

This 1,000 Romanian lei note is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts. It has blue, yellow, brown, and purple colors. Its obverse side contains Romanian text, the national emblem, a lily flower, the National Bank of Romania monogram, a quill, and a portrait of Mihai Eminescu, one of the most influential Romanian poets of all time. Its reverse side contains Romanian text, lime and blue flowers, the BNR monogram, a butterfly, and a view of the ancient columns in Histria on the coast of the Black Sea. The note has a solid security thread with demetalized BNR 1000 and a watermark of Eminescu and a vertical BNR. Its dimensions are 140 mm by 61 mm.
