Romania 1 Leu Banknote, 2018 , P-117a, UNC

The Romania 1 Leu Banknote from 2018 is part of the 2005-2018 series. Its obverse side features the coat of arms Romania, a flower as a registration device, a BNR monogram, two gentian flowers, and a portrait of Romanian historian Nicolae Iorga. The reverse side features a BNR monogram, a flower, a Crusader eagle with a cross in beak from the Vallachian coat of arms during the reign of Prince Constantin Brancoveanu, and a Romanian Orthodox cathedral in Curtea de Arge?. The note is 120 x 62 mm in size and contains a Simulated solid security thread, and a watermark shadow image of Nicolae Iorga and BNR monogram, to enhance its security features.
