This uncirculated 10,000 Romanian leu note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the National Bank of Romania. It is a green, blue, and yellow polymer note that is dated 2000, bear the signatures of Ionel Nitu and Dr. Emil Iota Ghizari, and measures 143 mm x 63 mm. Its obverse side features the national coat of arms, gentian flowers (Gentiana asclepiadaea), the BNR monogram, and a portrait of Nicolae Iorga. Its reverse side portrays a crusader eagle with a cross in its beak, the Romanian Orthodox Cathedral in Curtea de Arges, and the BNR monogram. Security features include a flower registration device and a shadow image of Nicolae Iorga and the BNR monogram. Because it is a polymer note, it does not have a security thread.
