The Romania 10,000 Lei Banknote was issued by the National Bank of Romania in 2000. It has hints of green, blue, and yellow. The obverse of the banknote features Nicolae Iorga, the coat of arms, gentian flowers, and the bank monogram. The reverse of the note features a crusader eagle with a cross in its beak, from the Vallachian coat of arms during the reign of Prince Constantine Brancoveanu. It also shows the Romanian Orthodox cathedral in Curtea de Arges, a flower, and the bank monogram. The banknote does not have a security thread but has a watermark that shows the shadow image of Nicolae Iorga and the bank monogram. It also has a registration device in the form of a flower. It is 143 x 63 mm in size and is signed by Ionel Nitu and Dr. Emil Iota Ghizari. This particular banknote is printed on polymer and is in used condition.
