Reviews:

The 2,000 Romanian Lei Banknote from 1999 was issued to commemorate the total solar eclipse visible in Romania on August 11, 1999. Its obverse side features the solar system, a sun printed with metameric ink, a BNR monogram, and the coat of arms of Romania. The reverse side features a transit of total solar eclipse on August 11, 1999, over the map of Romania. The note is 143 x 63 mm in size and does not contain any security threads however when placed under a UV light, a shadow image of the BNR monogram is visible.
