Romania 2,000 Lei Banknote, 1999, P-111b, UNC, Polymer, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Romania 2,000 Lei banknote was issued in 1999 by the National Bank of Romania. The banknote comes in a combination of blue, red, and yellow. It features the coat of arms of Romania, a sun printed with metameric ink, the BNR monogram, and the solar system on the obverse design. The back of the note depicts the transit of the total eclipse on August 11, 1999, over the map of Romania. The banknote is 143 x 63 mm in size and bears a watermark that reveals a shadow image of the BNR monogram. This particular polymer banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
