The Romania 200 Lei Banknote was issued by the National Bank of Romania in 1992. It has a color combination of blue, black, red, and yellow. Its obverse features the new coat of arms of Romania and Romanian ecologist Grigore Antipa. It also depicts the BNR monogram, the Tudor Vladimirescu steamboat on the Danube River, a heron, and the old lighthouse of Sulina (North Pier). The reverse depicts a fish net, birds, the Danube River Delta map, a fish, a compass rose, and the BNR monogram. The note has an unknown watermark and does not have a security thread. It is 153 x 77 mm in size and is signed by Mugur Constantin Isarescu and Dan Florescu. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
