This uncirculated 5,000 Romanian lei banknote is dated 1998 and bears the signature of Dr. Mugur Constantin Isarescu. It has orange, yellow, blue, red, and brown colors and dimensions of 145 mm x 64 mm. Its obverse side shows the coat of arms of Romania, a daffodil flower, the National Bank of Romania monogram, and a portrait of the Romanian philosopher and poet Lucian Blaga. Its reverse side shows a grape leaf, a crucifix, a flower, and a bank monogram. Security features include a flower registration device, a solid security thread with demetalized BNR 5000, and a watermark of Lucian Blaga and a vertical BNR.
