This uncirculated 50 lei Romania note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the National Bank of Romania. It is a yellow, green, blue, and orange polymer note that is dated 2009, bear the signatures of Mugur Constantin Isarescu and Ionel Nitu, and measures 140 x 77 mm. Its obverse side features the coat of arms, an edelweiss flower, a starburst as a registration device, the BNR monogram, an airplane propeller, Aurel Vlaicu, and the head of a mountain eagle in gold OVI. Its reverse side shows the BNR monogram, the Vlaicu II airplane, a motor, the head of a mountain eagle, and a starburst. Security features include a simulated solid security thread and a watermark of Aurel Vlaicu, and BNR monogram.
