This 12-piece banknote complete set makes up the Rossla am Kyffhauser Series issued by the Municipality of Rossla in the Mansfeld-Sharz district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. These banknotes were released in 1921 in the denominations of 25 and 50 pfennig. The obverse of the 25-pfennig banknotes depicts three photographs of historic landmarks and the denomination. The reverse of these notgeld paper bills illustrates the Kyffhauser legend and Emperor Frederick Barbarossa. These paper bills are 100 x 70 mm in size and are in uncirculated condition.
