The Russia 1,000 Rubles Banknote was issued by the Bank of Russia in 1995. The banknote has hints of brown, gray, purple, and green. Its obverse depicts the bank seal and gantry cranes loading ships at a dock in Vladivostok. It also displays the 1860s military supply ship Manchur at the top of a rostral column commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of Vladivostok. The reverse features the Two Fingers rock formation with a lighthouse and a cargo ship on the Sea of Japan in Dalnegorsk. The banknote contains a 1-mm wide security thread, a watermark that reveals a vertical 1000 and the Manchur monument. The banknote is 137 x 61 mm in size.
