The Russia 100 Rubles banknote is part of the 1997 issues. It is brown, olive green, and burgundy in color and measures 150 x 65 mm. The obverse side shows a bank seal and a bronze sculpture of Apollo in a chariot with four horses atop a pediment on the Bolshoi Theatre building in Moscow. The reverse side features the Bolshoi Theatre building in Moscow. This banknote uses a 1-mm wide solid security thread with printed ??? 100 and contains a watermark with a Vertical 100 (left) and a Bolshoi Theatre (right) design.
