Russia 100 Rubles Banknote, 2018 FIFA World Cup, 2018, P-280a, UNC

The Russia 100 Rubles Banknote from 2018 was issued to commemorate the 2018 World Cup held in Russia by the International Federation of Association Football, FIFA. The obverse side features Russian goalkeeper Lev Yashin diving for a soccer ball, a standing boy holding a soccer ball under his arm, the coat of arms of Russia, and a Quick Recognition Code. The reverse side features a stylized Russian flag with silhouettes of athletic fans, a stylized globe on a soccer ball with a Russian Federation map, and the names of Russian cities hosting the playoff games. The note is 150 x 65 mm in size and does not contain any security threads however when placed under a UV light, shadow images are visible.
