The Russia 5,000 Rubles banknote is part of the Bank of Russia’s 1997 series printed in 2010. The banknote comes in a combination of red and brown. Its obverse features the statue of statesman Nikolay Nikolayevich Muravyov-Amursky, the bank seal in Optically Variable Ink, the coat of arms Khabarovsk in Optically Variable Ink, and the promontory tower in Khabarovsk with a commercial ship offshore. The back of the banknote is the automobile bridge across the Amur River at the border between Russia and China. Security features of the banknote include a 3-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetallized 5000 and a watermark that reveals a vertical 5000 at the left and Nikolay Nikolayevich Muravyov-Amursky and an electrotype 5000 on the right. The note is 157 x 69 mm in size and is in used condition.
