This used 5,000 Russian ruble note is a standard circulation note introduced by the Bank of Russia in 2006. It is a red and brown note that is dated 1997 and measures 157 mm x 69 mm. Its obverse side contains an OVI bank seal, the statue of Nikolay Nikolayevich Muravyov-Amursky, the promontory tower in Khabarovsk, and the Khabarovsk coat of arms in crimson-to-green OVI. Its reverse side shows the automobile bridge across the Amur River. Security features include a 3-mm wide windowed security thread with demetalized 5000 and a watermark that shows a vertical 5000 and Nikolay Nikolayevich Muravyov-Amursky with an electrotype 5000.
