This uncirculated 5 Russian ruble banknote is a standard circulation banknote reissued by the Bank of Russia in 2022. It is a green, pink, and brown banknote that is dated 1997 and measures 137 mm x 61 mm. Its obverse side features the Millennium of Russia monument in the Novgorod Kremlin, a bank seal, and the Saint Sophia Cathedral in Novgorod. Its reverse side depicts a Dvorsovaya (Palace Tower), the Spasskaya (Saviour’s Tower), and Knyazhaya (Princess Tower) in the Novgorod Kremlin with the Voklhov River in the background. Security features include a 1-mm wide solid security thread with printed Cyrillic text and 5 and a watermark of a horizontal 5 and the Saint Sophia Cathedral.
