The Russia 50 Rubles banknote was issued by the Bank of Russia in 2004 with a 1997 date on the reverse. It has a color combination of blue, brown, red, orange, and green. The obverse side shows a bank seal and a female figure symbolizing the Neva River at the foot of the South rostral column on Birzhevaya Square in Saint Petersburg with Peter and Paul Fortress in the background. The reverse side features the south rostral column and Old Saint Petersburg Stock Exchange building. The banknote bears a 1-mm wide solid security thread with printed Russian text and the denomination. It also contains a watermark with a horizontal 50 at the left and the Peter and Paul Fortress at the right. It is 150 x 65 mm in size and has a radar serial number. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
