This uncirculated 1,000 Rwandan franc note is a specimen banknote issued by the National Bank of Rwanda. It is a green, blue, and brown note that is dated 01 December 1998, bear the signatures of Faustin Nteziryayo and Francois Mutemberezi, and measures 145 mm x 73 mm. Its obverse side features a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint, Mount Bisoke, and Mount Karisimbi. Its reverse side shows a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint, Ankole-Watusi cattle, and workers in a plantation. Security features include a solid security thread with demetallized BNR and a watermark of an Intore dancer’s head with an electrotype BNR.
