The Rwanda 1,000 Francs Banknote was issued by the National Bank of Rwanda in 2019. It has a color combination of blue, green, and orange. Featured on its obverse are the National Museum of Rwanda buildings in Butare and a flying dove in green-to-blue Spark Orbital. The reverse of the note depicts a golden monkey in Volcanoes National Park. The banknote bears a red-to-green windowed security thread with demetallized BNR1000. It also has a watermark that reflects the coat of arms and an electrotype BNR. It measures 140 x 72 mm and is signed by Monique Nsanzabaganwa and John Rwangomwa. This banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
