The Salzig Bad 50 Pfennig Notgeld was issued by the Municipality of Bad Salzig in the Prussian province of Rhine in 1921. Featured on its obverse is an old man holding a jar and a walking stick facing a field with mountains in the background. The reverse of the paper bill is a house beside the Rhine River. The emergency banknote does not have a security thread, however, it has a watermark that reveals a plastic chain. It is 85 x 58 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. This particular notgeld has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
