The Samoa 100 Tala is part of the 2006 ND issues. It is olive brown and lilac brown in color and measures 142 x 72 mm. The obverse side shows a flag, the Fale Fono (parliament building) in Apia, Malietoa Tanumafili II, and a kava bowl. The reverse side features three workers harvesting cocoa in field, the coat of arms, and a flag. This TAP Authenticated banknote uses a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBS and contains a watermark with a Malietoa Tanumafili II, electrotype CBS, and cornerstones design.
