The Samoa 100 Tala is part of the 2008 ND issues. It is purple in color and measures 139 x 71 mm. The obverse side shows the government building at Matagialalua and 50th ANNIVERSARY / OF INDEPENDENCE. The reverse side features the Central Bank of Samoa building and the coat of arms. This TAP Authenticated banknote uses an optiks security thread and contains a watermark with a Malietoa Tanumafili II and electrotype CBS design.
