Samoa 5 Tala Banknote, 2002 ND, P-33a.2, UNC, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Samoa 5 Tala banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Samoa in 2002. Its obverse features a boy with a pencil writing in a workbook. The maroon banknote also reflects the Samoan flag on the obverse with sea and mountains in the background. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a ship at a dock in Apia harbor, the coat of arms of Samoa, and the national flag. Security features of the note include a solid security thread with printed CBS and a watermark that reveals the image of Malietoa Tanumafili II. The paper bill is 144 x 72 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
