This uncirculated 50 tala Samoa note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Samoa. It is a green note that is dated 2006 ND, bears the signatures of Leasi Papalii Tommy Scanlan and Misa Telefoni, and measures 144 x 72 mm. Its obverse side features the Samoan flag, Robert Louis Stevenson’s former house in Vailima, Malietoa Tanumafili II, and a kava bowl. Its reverse side shows a man with a flaming torch performing Siva Afi (fire dance), a group of female Samoan dancers, palm trees, a coat of arms, and the flag. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized CBS and a watermark of Malietoa Tanumafili II, electrotype CBS, and cornerstones. Additionally, this note was demonetized in 2014.
