The Saudi Arabia 1 Riyal banknote is part of the 2007 issues. It is light green in color and measures 133 x 63 mm. The obverse side shows the front of the 7th-century Amawi gold dinar, first Islamic coin, and King Abdullah. The reverse side features the SAMA headquarters building and the national emblem (two crossed swords with a palm tree). This banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized SAMA 1 and contains a watermark with a King Abdullah, electrotype 1, and cornerstones design. It is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG).
