The Saudi Arabia 1 Riyal banknote is part of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agencys 2007 (AH1428) issues. The light green banknote features King Abdullah and the front of the 1st Islamic gold coin which is a 7th-century Amawi gold dinar. The reverse of the banknote displays the SAMA headquarters building and the coat of arms of Saudi Arabia which is represented by two crossed swords and a palm tree. The 133 x 63 mm paper bill was printed by Thomas De La Rue and bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized SAMA 1. It also carries a watermark that reflects King Abdullah, an electrotype 1, and Cornerstones. This Saudi Arabia 1 Riyal banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
