The Saudi Arabia 1 Riyal banknote is part of the 2009 (AH1430) issues. It measures 133 x 63 mm. The obverse side shows King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud and the obverse of the first Islamic coin. The reverse side features the building of the headquarters of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency and the coat of arms of Saudi Arabia. This TAP 60-70 Authenticated banknote uses a windowed security thread and contains a watermark with a King Abdullah and an electrotype 1 design.
