The Saudi Arabia 1 Riyal banknote is part of the 2007-2016 Fifth Series that introduced a 6-digit serial number and a 3-digit numeric prefix that starts at 001 and increases consecutively. This 1-riyal denomination banknote measures 133 x 63 mm and has a light green color scheme. On its obverse side is the portrait of King Abdullah along with the front of a 7th-century Amawi gold dinar, the first Islamic coin. Meanwhile, the reverse side shows the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) headquarters building along with the national emblem. This note has been graded 66 by grading company Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
