Its obverse side shows the front of a 7th century Amawi gold dinarthe first Islamic coinand King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Its reverse side features the SAMA headquarters building and the national emblem of Saudi Arabia: two crossed swords with a palm tree. The note has a windowed security thread with demetalized SAMA 1. Its watermarks are King Abdullah, an electrotype 1, and Cornerstones. Its dimensions are 133 mm x 63 mm.
