The banknotes reverse depicts the Al Aqsa mosque in Al Quds Al Shareef and the nations coat of arms showing two crossed swords and a palm tree. The 155 x 70 mm paper bill comes with a holographic stripe and a windowed security thread with a demetalized 50 and Arabic text. It also bears a watermark that reflects King Abdullah, an electrotype 50, and Cornerstones when held up to a light source. Additionally, it has the signatures of Governor Fahad Al-Mubarak and Finance Minister Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz bin Abdullah al-Assaf.
