The Saudi Arabia 500 Riyals Banknote is part of the 2016 issues of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority. This blue banknote features King Abdul Aziz on its obverse. It also displays the denomination in SPARK and a Ka’aba (cube). The reverse displays the ka’aba in the courtyard of the Holy Mosque in Mecca along with the national emblem depicting two crossed swords and a palm tree. The note contains a holographic stripe, a motion windowed security thread with Arabic text and the national emblem. Its watermark depicts King Abdul Aziz, an electrotype coat of arms and Arabic text, and Cornerstones. The note is 166 x 74 mm in size and is signed by Ahmed Abdulkarim Alkholifey. This particular paper bill has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
