This banknote set includes 3 pieces of notgeld paper bills issued by the City of Schuttorf in Hanover in 1921. These banknotes are in 50 and 75 pfennig, and 1 mark denominations and have the same color schemes. The obverse of the 50 and 75 pfennig emergency notes feature historic landmarks around the city such as the 15th-century town hall and a tower while that of the 1 mark note depicts the coat of arms of Schuttorf that reflects the watchtower and the emblem of the Counts of Bentheim. Portrayed on their reverse is the city mayor with his councilors, a horse-drawn carriage loaded with people, and a map. The pfennig notgeld banknotes have dimensions of 86 x 63 mm while the 1-mark paper bill is 87 x 62 mm in size. These notes are in uncirculated condition.
