Reviews:

The Scotland 1 Pound banknote was released by the Royal Bank of Scotland Public Limited Company in 1996. On its obverse is a portrait of Lord Ilay who served as the banks first governor. On the banknotes reverse is the Edinburgh Castle. The paper bill is 128 x 65 mm in size and bears a solid security thread. Printed by De La Rue, the banknote carries the signature of Fred Goodwin and a watermark that reflects an image of Lord Ilay. This particular Scotland 1 Pound paper bill has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
