The Scotland 5 Pound banknote was introduced by the Royal Bank of Scotland Public Limited Company in 2004 to commemorate the 250th year of St. Andrews Royal & Ancient Golf Club. The banknotes obverse bears the golf club badge, a shield, and a portrait of Lord Ilay. The back of the note depicts images of St. Andrews and an image of Scottish golfer Old Tom Morris. Printed by De La Rue in London, the banknote is 135 x 70 mm in size and is composed of paper. This Scotland 5 Pound paper bill comes in uncirculated condition.
