The Scotland 1 Pound banknote was issued by the Royal Bank of Scotland Public Limited Company in 1999 to commemorate the Scottish Parliaments first meeting. The banknotes obverse features a portrait of the Earl of Ilay, Lord Archibald Campbell. The reverse of the note depicts the Church of Scotlands General Assembly Hall. The banknote has dimensions of 128 x 65 mm. It carries a solid security thread and a watermark that shows an image of Lord Ilay. This particular paper bill is TAP authenticated. Additionally, it comes in uncirculated condition.
