The Seychelles 100 Rupee banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Seychelles in 1998 with an almost solid'' serial number. The note comes in red and orange color combinations and is 151 x 75 mm in size. Its front side depicts the coat of arms of Seychelles, the nations map, a Vieille babone cecile fish, and a pitcher plant. On its back are cowrie shells lining up at the upper left, a palm tree, bridled tern birds, and a giant tortoise endemic to Seychelles. The banknote comes with a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBS, a watermark that reflects a turtle, and a registration device in the form of a turtle. It also carries the signature of Governor Norman Weber. This particular Seychelles 100 rupee banknote is in uncirculated condition.
