The Seychelles 100 Rupees banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Seychelles in 1998 ND. It comes in red and orange color combinations and has dimensions of 151 x 75 mm. The banknotes obverse depicts the coat of arms of Seychelles, the nations map, a Vieille babone cecile fish, and a pitcher plant. On the reverse of the note are cowrie shells lining up at the upper left, a palm tree, bridled tern birds, and a giant tortoise endemic to Seychelles. The banknote comes with a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBS, a watermark that reflects a turtle, and a registration device in the form of a turtle. It also carries the signature of Governor Norman Weber. This particular Seychelles 100 rupee banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
