This uncirculated 50 Seychellois rupee note was introduced by the Central Bank of Seychelles in 1998 and was signed by Norman Weber. It is a green, brown, and lilac note that measures 151 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side shows the national coat of arms of Seychelles, a map, an angel fish, and paille en queue orchids. Its reverse side shows a row of cowrie shells, cars, a clock tower, yellow-fin tuna fish, and a tiomitio bird. Security features include a low serial number, a turtle registration device, a windowed security thread with demetalized CBS, and a turtle watermark.
