The Seychelles 50 Rupee banknote in green, blue, and lilac combinations was released by the Central Bank of Seychelles in 2011. Its obverse features a coco-de-mer palm tree, the coat of arms of Seychelles, the map of the country, a silver holographic sailfish, and paille en queue orchids. On the reverse are cowrie shells, cars, the clock tower in Victoria, a yellowfin tuna fish, and a tiomitio bird. The paper bill has a 2.5-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetalized CBS, a watermark that reflects a turtle, and a registration device in the form of a turtle. The banknote is 151 x 75 mm in size. This particular Seychelles 50 Rupee note has been given a grade of 65 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
