This banknote set consists of two pieces of Siegburg notgeld banknotes in 25 and 50 pfennig denominations. These emergency banknotes were issued by the City of Sieburg in the Prussian province of Rhine in 1921. Although these banknotes are in different colors, they bear a unified design on their obverse. The front side of these notes displays the seal of Siegburg, the denomination, and the issuing citys name. The reverse side of the 25-pfennig shows a tower overlooking a valley while the 50-pfennig note depicts a hill with a castle at its top and a village at its foot. These notgeld banknotes are 88 x 48 mm in size and have a Parkett pattern watermark. Each banknote is in uncirculated condition.
