Sierra Leone 10,000 Leones Banknote, 2010, P-33a, UNC

The Sierra Leone 10,000 leone banknote was released by the Bank of Sierra Leone in 2010 with enhanced security elements. The notes obverse depicts a dove flying over the map of the country, the flag of Sierra Leone, and a holographic patch. On the reverse are the national emblem and the cotton tree in Freetown. The 150 x 73 mm banknote comes with a StarChrome windowed security thread with a demetalized BSL 10000. It also has a watermark that shows a lions head, an electrotype 10000, and Cornerstones. Printed by De La Rue, the banknote carries the signatures of the bank governorSheku Sambadeen Sesay and Deputy Governor Andrina Rosa Coker. This particular Sierra Leone 10,000 leone banknote is in uncirculated condition.
